I’m an Experience Design Director with over two decades leading design across London, Lisbon, and São Paulo. I specialise in building high-performing design teams, scaling design maturity, and embedding user-centered thinking into business and product strategy.
My work sits at the intersection of design leadership, operations, and strategic delivery. I help organisations use design as a catalyst for transformation, shaping vision, driving measurable outcomes, and enabling teams to collaborate with clarity and purpose. While my primary focus is leadership, I remain hands-on when it matters most, especially during pitches, early-stage concepting, and high-impact strategic initiatives.

In my most recent role, I defined the vision and operating model for Merkle’s Experience Design practice, positioning design as a strategic engine for growth within Dentsu’s global network. I built the department from the ground up, establishing teams in the UK and Portugal and scaling from two designers to more than twelve full-time specialists, supported by contractors and offshore partners.
Key achievements include:
Built and scaled the design practice from 2 to 12+ designers across UK & Portugal scaling the team internationally, doubling headcount and building a cohesive, multi-region design practice.
Delivering on revenue targets by working closely with executive leadership to align design vision delivering revenue & market differentiation for the capability.
Strengthening operational foundations, introducing processes, rituals, and standards that improved efficiency, collaboration, and quality across teams.
Overcoming geographic challenges by evolving ExperienceOps, ensuring consistent output across remote and distributed environments.
This period solidified my passion for leading teams, setting design direction, and building the systems that enable large organisations to deliver exceptional experience work.
